Augmented Reality

I must admit, I’m addicted….to blog reading! I have tons of blogs on my feed reader that I just love to death and I couldn’t teach without all the positivity and inspiration that everyone shares. Reading blogs have become one of my favorite things to do. (I almost wrote “in my spare time” to finish that last sentence, but let’s be real we don’t REALLY have spare time as teachers. Just moments here and there that we can breathe a little easier.)

Today, I was reminded why I read/scan so many blogs.  Sometimes I come across something that completely changes my perception! Augmented reality…that’s not for me, it’s too silly and wouldn’t apply to my very structured math classroom.  Or at least that is what I thought!

Today I read Augmenting Reality Transforming Education blog post by  Education Technology and Mobile Learning. In the post, a wonderful presentation is share. See it below…

Not only is this presentation very well put together, it is VERY informative. It’s pretty long (200+ slides), but very hard to stop looking through!  It’s like getting caught up in a good book that you can’t put down.  Now, the tasks for the rest of the day will be put off (a little while longer) so I can do some researching on how to do this! 🙂
 My mind has been transformed!
